The Postgraduate Certificate of World Literatures offers graduates from a broad range of backgrounds the opportunity to join a group of booklovers to discuss and study recent and classical works of literature under the guidance of experts from across the Humanities. Literary texts will be discussed in their cultural, geopolitical and historical contexts.

A special feature of the Postgraduate Certificate in World Literatures are two study abroad units which take students on location to study selected works of literature in their cultural and geographical contexts. Guided thematic walks through world cities allow students to develop a deeper understanding of a foreign culture and its literary tradition.
